Snowflake Fun

In my last post, I shared a Winter Wonderland Christmas
window and decorated the glass with paper snowflakes.
I thought I would show you what I used to make
them and some of my simple projects!

Snowflake crafts- Itsy Bits And Pieces

I used this great snowflake punch.
It makes a nice sized 2 inch snowflake.  I used cardstock and it punched really easily. I have had other punches that are hard to use, so I loved it!
I used the snowflakes on windows, and I think
the leftover paper pieces will be cute to use as gift tags!

I also used them to make simple garlands,
with just a dot of hot glue and baker's twine...

I think it would be lovely to use old book pages and sheet music for snowflakes, too...and they would be be pretty decorations for wrapping paper.

Do you have any ideas using little snowflakes?
I'd love you to share!

Until next time...

  1. Linda, I think that is a smart idea to use both pieces of the card stock for decorations and tags...you clever girl. I like the snow flakes on the wreath too. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
